DerKingnee at a Glance

DerKingnee Institute of Scientific and Engineering Computing (DISEC) has several research and education programs with numerous curriculums that are related to the CSE domain. The institute is founded by Dr. Jun Ni, former faculty member at the University of Iowa. The institute is supported by MediX Computing LLC in USA. The current mission of DISCE is to persistently advocate and support CSE technical developments, and provide technical training in CSE-related application fields. DICSE's training courses help them quickly get involved in CSE application developments by using the cutting-edge computing technology, such as HPC, cloud computing, big data, and other relevant large-scale computing and information technologies which are urgently and commonly applied to science and engineering areas. It helps students master CSE knowledge, sharp their technical skills, and gain rich experiences of deploying the cutting-edge computing and information technologies for communities and societies

The DISCE CSE program is not a degree degree program, rather a certificated education program dedicated for people who would like to learn domain knowledge for their future career development. The contents and knowledge courses are practically useful, specially the skills in parallel programming, data processing, analysis and mining, physical modeling and real-time simulations. These courses are 4-weeks courses. The courses can be in-class or online. The institute would also like to cooperate with universities or educational institutions to establish joint programs. The pre-requisition is needed for admission and registration. Currently, DICSE has six education course programs. They are listed as follows.

(1) Computational Sciences and Engineering

(2) Data Science and Engineering

(3) Medicine and Healthcare Informatics

(4) Computational Medicine and Healthcare

(5) Applied Mathematics, and Statistics

(6) Computations in Mechanical Engineering
